Are you looking to make a difference in your community while having fun and meeting new people?
The Lismore Show is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help us create an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages! Whether you have a few hours to spare or can help out for all 3 days of the Show or more, your support is crucial in making this event a success.
As a volunteer, you’ll enjoy behind-the-scenes access, gain valuable experience, and contribute to a cherished local tradition... PLUS, Volunteers working a minimum 4-hour shift will receive a Pass to the Show for that day and a meal voucher.
Volunteers are needed to assist in a variety of roles, such as:
- Decorating pavilions
- Welcoming visitors and selling tickets
- Managing pass-outs
- Parking management
- Supporting entertainers and Show organisers
Volunteering at the Show requires a level of fitness as walking and standing are involved in all roles. The Show is an agriculturally based event and you may be in the presence of, or near, all types of food, produce, plants and animals including, but not limited to: flowers, hay, straw, livestock or domestic animals.
Training provided: You’ll have training resources and information available so you can perform your volunteer duties to the best of your ability.
Time required: shift duration is minimum 4 hours, with breaks when needed.

Must be 16 years and older
Under 18 years requires parent/guardian consent.
