2026 North Coast National Young Woman / Teen Showgirl

Are you a young woman passionate about your community, leadership and making a difference?

The Young Woman and Teen Showgirl program provides an opportunity for young women aged 13–25 to get involved, build confidence and become ambassadors for the Lismore Show, agriculture and the local community.

Throughout the competition, entrants have the opportunity to develop valuable skills in;

• Leadership
• Public speaking
• Interviewing
• Communication
• Community engagement and connections

Whilst gaining a greater understanding of the agricultural industry and the work that goes into making the Lismore Show such an important annual event.

The successful Young Woman and Teen Showgirl will represent the North Coast National as ambassadors, promoting the Lismore Show and our local community. The Young Woman will also have the opportunity to progress to the Regional Zone 1 Final, where she will compete alongside representatives from other North Coast shows for the chance to represent the region at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

Who can enter?

Teen Showgirl: Young women aged 13–17
Young Woman: Young women aged 18–25

You don't need to be an expert in agriculture or have years of public speaking experience. What matters is your willingness to get involved, learn, represent your community and make the most of the opportunity.

Judging for the Young Woman and Teen Showgirl competitions will be held on Saturday, October 10th, followed by a formal dinner, all held at the Lismore Showground.
